Arabic Church of Regina

The ‘Arabic Church of Regina’ is the anchor of the ministry where we enjoy worshiping our Lord, Bible teaching and prayer. To learn more about the Church, see the ‘Arabic Church’ page on this website.

Family Visits

Home visits to Arabic families are at the heart of the ministry.

Our goal is to build friendships while taking the opportunity to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. These dear people are also invited to Church services and special events.

Special Meetings

Special meetings are planned to engage with our Arabic friends. Examples of this have been: Christmas Dinner celebration; outdoor BBQs; Birthday or Farewell celebrations; Special Church meetings with a guest speaker; and fellowship gatherings at Fadl and Martha’s home.

Prayer Meetings

We believe in the power of prayer. Every month on the first Thursday of the month at 7 pm, we meet for prayer and praise. The meeting takes place at Living Hope Alliance Church, 3800 Green Falls Dr., Regina. We sing some worship songs, have a devotional and then pray for the various aspects of the ministry.

Donated Furniture and Household Items

We partner with other local ministries in receiving donations of furniture and household items. Donated items are then stored in a large sea can until they can be distributed to families in need. Often, our ministry becomes aware of newcomers to Canada who are in need of furniture. Whenever items are distributed, the recipients are told that these gifts are given to show our friendship and desire to tell them about Jesus.

Bible Teaching Online and on TV

Brother Fadl, our Arabic Pastor, teaches Bible lessons online on Facebook. These lessons in Arabic have a wide audience internationally, especially in the Middle East. He has also preached on TV broadcasts from Ontario

Street Evangelism

Brother Fadl meets people on the streets of downtown Regina and engages them in conversations on faith. He introduces them to the gospel of Jesus Christ and offers them tracts and Bible literature. Occasionally, Fadl will also attend community events seeking other opportunities to share the gospel.

Kids 5-Day Bible Club

In the summer, we invite one of Child Evangelism Fellowship Saskatchewan’s teams to come and teach our children. Their program is called Kids 5-Day Club. Children ages 5 to 13 are encouraged to participate in singing, listening to Bible stories, memorizing scripture and praying together. Our ministry complements the program with providings snacks and drinks and a special wind-up on the last day of the club.

Arabic Church Connections (Canada)

Our ministry recognizes the value of being connected with other Arabic ministries in Canada. Some of the places Fadl has visited are: Saskatoon, Calgary, Winnipeg and Ontario (Mississauga, Richmond Hill, Windsor, St. Catharines). Fadl is often invited to preach, which is his number one passion.

Mission Trips

(Egypt, South Sudan)

In recent years, our missionaries Fadl and Martha have travelled to Egypt and South Sudan on mission trips. Since Egypt was their home country until 2017, they have a keen passion for the Egyptian people. Their ministry there focuses on teaching and encouraging Christians. They also reach out to support widows with gifts, because many of them live in poverty. Fadl, when he travels to Egypt, teams up with other Evangelists and travels to South Sudan to teach and build up the Christians so their faith may be strong, while facing hardships in their country.
